Justin Love Drops Vibrant “Get Out” Video Featuring GASHI

Justin Love’s recent single, “Get Out” featuring Gashi, has been the highlight song of this summer, amassing 500k streams in just 2 weeks since release. Love and Gashi have unveiled an amusing video to accompany the song.

The Get Out video revolves around inspiration and celebration, showing Love and Gashi reap the rewards of their hard work after grinding for years in the ultra-competitive music industry. They’re “mini-mes” are portrayed by two cute kids who envision their futures ahead, complete with fancy cars, big houses and the lavish lifestyle of achieving your dreams.

Justin Love and Gashi had the following to share words to share about the Get Out video:

I always strive to act as a role model to the younger generation and show them what hard work looks like. This video is a glimpse through the eyes of a young me to what can be achieved through years of determination.” – Justin

This record and video are one of the greatest songs / videos I’ve ever been a part of and I’m very excited for the world to see this work of art.” – Gashi

Justin Love earned a Grammy nomination earlier this year for H.E.R.’s smash hit Focus, contributing as a songwriter. Get Out has amassed over 500k streams in a couple of weeks since its release, his third single of the year following up Runaway and Bad Mind. Love still has a few more songs up his sleeve that he’s excited to share before the end of the year.

Holly Gets Personal With Fans In New Music Video

Holly Gets Personal With Fans In New Music Video

Today is a strong day for Holly, Portuguese producer/DJ, as he unveiled the music video for his new single Encontrar feat. Slow J. The hip/hop artist is building anticipation for his upcoming EP – Avenal 2500 – which will be released on May 17th. The EP is speculated to be a very introspective work, as it can be interpreted from the reflective nature of this new single. Holly decided to team up with his close friend and successful Portuguese rapper Slow J for the production of this personal project.

Holly describes the meaning of the song and working with Slow J with these words:

“’Encontrar’ is an extremely important record for my soul at this point in my life. Every day, I’ve been facing this process of self-betterment and striving to become the best artist and person that I can be rather than fearing that I won’t achieve my goals, which makes me feel like I’m climbing up a never-ending stairway. It makes this record even more special to have the energy of Slow J, since he’s one of my closest friends in music and is also an artist that I look up to immensely.”

The music video was shot in Lisbon and directed/edited by Made in Lx, produced by Sente Isto and features the talented dancer Elohim Atons performing an evocative dance routine. Holly and Slow J also appear in the video, connecting with the audience through imagery.

UK house-duo ICARUS drops ‘Sirens’ New Music Video

UK house-duo ICARUS drops ‘Sirens’ New Music Video

Bristol-based, house duo, ICARUS released their new music video for single ‘Sirens’ from their latest EP, This Music Be The Place. In the past, ICARUS has dabbled between different styles, now infusing their advanced productions and cinematic atmospherics with their own signature style, they created their new track ‘Sirens’.

ICARUS, made up of brothers Tom and Ian Griffiths, created an intense, yet simplistic, visual masterpiece for ‘Sirens‘. In a trippy video, the protagonist is shown driving in a deep trance, blinded and distracted by tunnels and flashing lights.

Tom and Ian Griffiths shared some words about ‘Sirens’:

The original demo of Sirens was actually written about 18 months ago. Before our first ever live show in London, our manager made a playlist of our demos to have on in the background before we went on stage and Sirens was on there. After the show, we had a lot of our friends come up to us and ask what the track was, which prompted us to go back into the studio and re work it. We were lucky enough to test it out live every night whilst on tour in the US with Rufus Du Sol and the reactions we got to it were amazing. Once we got home, the singer, Katie Pearson, came to our studio and added the final touches to the new version and we wrapped it up! It took going away on tour and having those experiences and then coming back to our comfort zone to make it work. But now it really matches up with what we both felt was right for it.”

GRiZ triggers emotions in “A New Day” (Feat. Matisyahu) music video

GRiZ triggers emotions in “A New Day” (Feat. Matisyahu) music video

GRiZ shines a light on gun violence and the horror it’s caused in his latest music video for “A New Day” (feat. Matisyahu). The empowering video follows the track that was written just days after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland and released on February 22nd as part of GRiZ’s upcoming album Ride Waves.

The raw video commentary features victims and families that have been directly affected by gun violence in some shape or form and footage from past shootings, including the recent tragedy at the Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas. Also highlighted in the video are activists and past protests in support of stronger gun violence prevention like the student-led March For Our Lives demonstration in Washington D.C.

Along with the new music, GRiZ calls on fans to support Brady (formerly the Brady Campaign Against Gun Violence) which encourages the community to #TakeActionNotSides and unite against gun violence. Visit bradyunited.org/act and add your voice to the millions urging senators to support S.42, legislation needed to expand background checks on gun sales and save lives.

At its core, the powerful music video reveals the damage gun violence can cause anyone no matter their age, sex, or race. It offers a plea to end this cycle of violence and hope for a new, better day.

Back with a new and impressive single titled ‘Higher Mentions’, Australian based artist Driftwood is adding another piece to his project. Becoming a unique artist hasn’t been easy, but his work has definitely proven successful in this new track that is accompanied by an additional music video. It tells a slight narrative that Driftwood himself created to also allow the viewer to make up their own version of as it progresses.

I like to paint pictures  through music and film, but I don’t  like to star in any of my videos and prefer  to collaborate with people who inspire me. I am fascinated  by literature, music, film and life, and I strive to tell stories across  audio & film to provoke thought and emotion.” –Driftwood

With a skillset and mindset that sets him apart from other artists, Driftwood can be expected to continue to produce content that makes you think as well as enjoy overall with his unique electo-hip hop sound. Keep your eye out for more from this artist and follow him below to keep up to date!
