Deffie and JULiA LEWiS have come together for “I Wanna”, a chill little track that pulls in all of the vibes you would want in a chill future bass track. It doesn’t scream originality but it’s consistent with what fans of the sub genre are demanding and it’s quality as far as production goes it high level for sure. These guys are both super talented and are worth checking out if you have yet to do so before this.
I’ve been playing this one all day. I just love how you can always recognize where Sango puts his touches on a track. He’s quickly become one of my top 3 favorite producers. The last 45 seconds of “Love Again” are perfect. Hopefully I can write something over that little bit soon. Info on how to purchase below. I’ll upload a loop I made of that ending soon.

Another solid selection from the guys at Kinda Neat. They consistently work with some of the best emerging artists in hip hop and DAYE JACK certainly has my interest peaked. Check out the video as DAYE performs his very catchy single “Easy”.

Daye Jack performs “Easy” live in Cosmic Zoo studio after a long conversation with Intuition on the Kinda Neat podcast.
This week we talked to fresh faced new LA transplant Daye Jack. Born in Nigeria, raised in Atlanta, schooled in New York, and now living in LA, his music is as eclectic as the places he’s resided. He represents a new breed of hip hop artists that are as comfortable harmonizing a catchy melody as they are barring out. We take a lot of care in selecting artists we think you, the listeners, will want to add to your playlist. If we’ve learned anything about your tastes through the years, this is going to be a guy we all agree upon. Listen in as we talk about leaving NYU to pursue music, playing his first show 6 months ago, and his surprising love for John Mayer.
It looks like another new streaming video service is looking to make moves in the US. OZ is a brand new video platform offering creative freedom and quality content that will look to hit the ground running with a special event going down at the Ace hotel in DTLA this Thursday.
There will be special performances and an info session along with a party and some sweet VIP offerings (if you have the hook up). Read more about OZ below, RSVP for the event and come out on Thursday and catch Gus Gus, Samaris, Retro Stefson and some other awesome acts for free.
OZ empowers creators of video content by giving them the tools to set-up a global subscription-based video channel, for mobile devices and web browsers, in a heartbeat. OZ collects subscription payments globally of which 70% go directly to creators on a monthly basis. Creators set the price, design their channel and curate their offering from the OZ Channel Creator.
The tastiest party in all of socal makes it’s official debut at Coachella in 2015. Get ready for the FGC event of the year “Cochedda”. The lineup is sick and space is limited so RSVP while you can and I’ll see you all Thursday night.
From Nathan Beer of FGC:
We’ve been hard at work for the past month, wracking our brains to bring Free Grilled Cheese to Coachella. Well, we did. We’re calling it Coachedda and it’s got some of the best crews LA has to offer behind it. If you’re around Indio next week, hit us up and we’ll do our best to sort you for entry. In the meantime, RSVP below!
Be on the lookout for the Fauxchella gifting bus which will be making rounds around palm springs during Coachella’s first weekend of partying. They have lined up some awesome sponsors and should have some solid giveaways. One of the best parts about Coachella is all the free swag so don’t miss out on some of the best freebies the desert will have to offer.
Catch Luca Lush and the rest of his Babel Collective at Space Yacht this week which goes down at Golden Box in Hollywood. I love this Venue and with Babel on the beats it should be good times. RSVP at the link below.
Don’t miss YNGCULT’s return to Sayers Club this Tuesday in Hollywood. These guys always put on a good show and this club is always a nice break from the traditional DJ booth set up that you’re stuck with in most spots in LA. Ticket info is below and if you hit me up on FB, I might be able to hook you up for free.
This remix of “When Ashes Fall” is fire. I think YNGCULT and LION KNGS need to do a live remix of this or if they can just find a way to perform this live, I think they could be on to something big as far as live indie electro/trap goes. Figure it out please! More info below:
