Girl power has been a very hot topic in 2016. While I have always been down to back up my creative sisters, there is a group of awesome females throwing a very cool party in LA and it’s back for it’s 4th edition on 9/24. Check out the info below and be sure to pick up a ticket to see Softest Hard, Amy Pham, Millie and Von Kiss at The Regent Theater in DTLA. You know I’ll be there!
FLYGRLS FLYGRLS is a benefit dance party based in Los Angeles with a mission to support and celebrate female artists, brands and organizations.
We want to create a party with a purpose by offering a platform for female artists to network, get inspired, all while having a good time on the dance floor.
SPACELAND, LOVE+MADE, LADIES FIRST, and THIS IS A LOVE SONG believe in giving back to community and will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Downtown Women’s center, the only organization in Los Angeles exclusively dedicated to addressing needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in Skid Row.
With a full female DJ and artist line up performing on stage, the venue will be filled with empowered influencers alike. Get ready to celebrate the LADIES movement.#FLYGRLSLA
THE LINE UP:
It looks like another new streaming video service is looking to make moves in the US. OZ is a brand new video platform offering creative freedom and quality content that will look to hit the ground running with a special event going down at the Ace hotel in DTLA this Thursday.
There will be special performances and an info session along with a party and some sweet VIP offerings (if you have the hook up). Read more about OZ below, RSVP for the event and come out on Thursday and catch Gus Gus, Samaris, Retro Stefson and some other awesome acts for free.
OZ empowers creators of video content by giving them the tools to set-up a global subscription-based video channel, for mobile devices and web browsers, in a heartbeat. OZ collects subscription payments globally of which 70% go directly to creators on a monthly basis. Creators set the price, design their channel and curate their offering from the OZ Channel Creator.
