All Day I Dream Announces 2019 World Tour Dates

All Day I Dream Announces 2019 World Tour Dates

All Day I Dream has a distinct way of presenting music that aims to put the listener into a state of pure bliss and tranquility. As such, fans everywhere can rejoice in the announcement of the label’s 2019 world tour. ADID’s ability to delicately yet deliberately touch the soul with ethereal décor and emotive soundtracking is unparalleled and inspiring.

This year All Day I Dream is hitting all the usual spots with its island residencies in Mykonos and Ibiza, as well as major cities around the world, including New York, San Francisco, London, Moscow, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dubai, St. Petersburg, and Toronto, among others. The current listed cities and dates will only grow as we get deeper into 2019.

Label boss and genius Lee Burridge has kept himself busy thus far with not only the world tour but with a return to the Radio 1 decks for a new Essential Mix featuring label newcomers and seasoned veterans. Some new artists featured on the mix include Roy Rosenfeld, DSF, Newman, innovative duo Double Touch, and Facundo Mohrr. All of these artists create expressive and melodic music that’s impacting the deep house scene and redefining the genre altogether.

Beloved family members like Lost Desert, YokoO, Oona Dahl, and Hoj are also on the mix, helping to shape the one-of-a-kind ADID sound. The mix is dreamy, filled with unreleased tracks, entrancing, and mystical: all things you can expect from any ADID show on the world tour.

New EP Release on Desert Hearts featuring Matt Tolfrey and Lee Curtiss

New EP Release on Desert Hearts featuring Matt Tolfrey and Lee Curtiss

Desert Hearts Records has released a new EP that is guaranteed to keep us dancing well into the New Year. Suprised? Neither are we. With Matt Tolfrey and Lee Curtiss to thank, The EP, aptly named For Your Mind, maintains the staple Desert Hearts house beat we know and love. Who Said That, the EP opener, serves steady percussion and inlays of soft vocals and differing samples throughout. The EP finisher is a bubbly house track and mimics the style of vocals present in the opener. A classic Desert Hearts release, For Your Mind is the perfect reminder for why we love house music.

Both Curtiss and Tolfrey are heavy hitters when it comes to experience. Curtiss is known for his ability to add diversity from different eras into his tracks, while Tolfrey’s success as a DJ has led him to be the owner of his own label, Leftroom. Both artists has a knack for enticing us to the dance floor, and this collaboration will find us hard-pressed to ever leave.

LA Riots – Country Club Disco Mix

LA Riots – Country Club Disco Mix

Screen Shot 2018-01-09 at 12.15.16 PM

When I started my professional adventures in electronic music around 2010, one of the first groups that I really started to get behind were a DJ duo by the name of LA Riots. Their big tracks and energetic mixes kept many a nights going for myself and my crew and watching them blow up with labels like Fools Gold and Spinnin has been an awesome sight to see. The duo has been off the radar as of late and it just so happens that Daniel lives near my office where we recently caught up while hanging with my frenchie Bowser. To be honest, I’ve been running into this guy all over town for years and as far as DJ/Producers go, he’s as nice as it gets.

After chatting in front of whole foods for a few, it looks like LA Riots will be coming out with some dope new music soon (tech house vibes!) and I want to be sure to share it all with you guys as I get it. For now check out this incredibly dope mix that the guys worked up for Country Club records. The mix is chock full of demos and unreleased work and it’s the perfect collection of tunes to keep you going on this very rainy LA day. I’ll have more news and music from LA Riots soon so stay tuned as the hustle continues.

ZHU – After Hours Mix (BBC Radio 1)

ZHU – After Hours Mix (BBC Radio 1)

ZHU-Superfriends-+-Faded

ZHU delivers a solid after hours mix for Pete Tong & BBC radio 1. While I was personally left unimpressed by his so called “epic” live show at Hard DOTD lat year, there is no doubt that the guy is super talented. I played this while doing some work earlier and really felt like it contributed to my good mood. So with that being said, I’ve posted it here for you so you can get your Friday night started. Enjoy!

Thump Presents – ON DECK: Mija

Thump Presents – ON DECK: Mija

When homies combine, you get an awesome mix from a great artist hosted by a very legit blog. It has been awesome to personally watch Mija do her thing over the last year and I’m very happy to support her here at AlwaysHustle. You will see a lot more from Mija in 2015.

Follow Mija:

More from THUMP below.

“For her ON DECK debut, Mija showcases what it is that’s so quickly elevated her above the hoi polloi – She’s as comfortable working through stylish house tunes as she is dropping hip-hop influenced bangers as she is rinsing tearout jams, and all in one set. This collection in particular starts off with some sleek numbers by Durante, Jack Beats and Worthy before weaving through Troyboi and her own (+ Ghastly) remix of Diplo and then ends up with an epic Skrillexian tearout via SPAG HEDDY. Oh, and the whole thing was mixed live.”

Soulection Radio Show #186

The latest Radio show from my favorite collective in the game right now. Everything you need to know is below so hit play and vibe out.

About:

▶ Soulection ~ The Sound of Tomorrow
▶ facebook.com/soulection | twitter.com/soulection
▶ Discover: @joekay

Welcome back, i’ve had to take some time off the past couple of weeks because i’ve been ill and fatigue. I was also congested for a month straight from traveling, lack of sleep, and hitting different climates zones — you can hear it in my voice in the previous shows. Anyways, there wasn’t a LIVE show on Rinse.FM today because they are curating special programming for their 20 year anniversary celebration this weekend and next weekend. We won’t be back live on air until Saturday, October 4th.

I couldn’t go another week without doing the show so I just recorded privately on my own. I have some great music in here and tried to balance it with new and classic tracks like always. Enjoy!
