JULiA LEWiS – Jumpman Jumpmang

JULiA LEWiS – Jumpman Jumpmang

You gotta love it when an artist takes the time to really make a remix/refix/refilpre-whatever their own. The homie JULiA LEWiS take some inspiration from the Bull’s official warm up music in his tribute to the OG Jumpman himself.

From JULiA LEWiS:

More than a nod to drake or future, this one is an ode to Michael jordan (a childhood hero *pre-gambling problems, *pre-misogyny, lol). He wasn’t just an athletic inspiration for me, but also a model for work ethic and determination. I transposed the Chicago bulls warmup song to fit underneath parts of the beat, to bring it all together. Can you catch it?

Video: St. Tiimbre – Body Moves

St. Tiimbre sure does make some beautiful music. Natashaa Adorlee Johnson’s voice is unique in all the best ways and really has a way of sticking out in your mind. The visuals that the bay area trio (which also includes AlwaysHustle favorites JULiA LEWiS & executive producer Amp Live) have given us for “Body Moves” are striking. The production quality is top shelf and I really think they did a fantastic job putting this entire project together. Now that this video is out, St. Tiimbre has also announced that their new ep “Body Moves” will be dropping on itunes on on 11/19. We will keep you posted on that but for now enjoy the video.

We’re so proud to bring our Stay Zen EP.

It’s been a long time coming but we’ve made sure that this experience would represent the ZS family and it’s fans as much as possible. Almost 10 months ago today ZenSupremacy was founded.
This collective was started with one main goal in mind; showcasing forward thinking people and artists, as well as their tastes and preferences in the vast world of music. Today, we believe we’ve done just that.
Our collective is growing thanks to all the great support we’ve gained over those last few months.

Stay Zen Is our first full body of work which we are very proud to finally bring to the world. ZenSupremacy and “Stay Zen” are not just a label and the name of this great body of work, but a way of life. Supremacy represents full control or dominance, while Zen embodies tranquility and peace. By putting those two concepts together we avidly share a message of positivity, love and respect that we believe every human being should live by. We hope you enjoy this EP as much as we enjoyed putting it together for ya’ll. We hope to see all of you at our label nights and future events. Don’t forget to stay tuned~

Welcome to ZS

Feeling This: Volume 2

Feeling This: Volume 2

It wasn’t very hard to find music for this weeks episode of “Feeling This”. I wanted to expand a bit from the first playlist by digging into a variety of new sounds, crossing into several sub genres that you might not normally find on AlwaysHustle.com. I found myself playing these songs all week long as really using these tracks as the sound track for my week. I’ve been walking around a lot more vs driving, and having this music to keep me going through my daily work has really made it a lot easier for me to focus. Life is good and so is this music. Thanks for listening. Links for all of the artists can be found below.

Deffie x JULiA LEWiS – I Wanna

Deffie x JULiA LEWiS – I Wanna

Deffie and JULiA LEWiS have come together for “I Wanna”, a chill little track that pulls in all of the vibes you would want in a chill future bass track. It doesn’t scream originality but it’s consistent with what fans of the sub genre are demanding and it’s quality as far as production goes it high level for sure. These guys are both super talented and are worth checking out if you have yet to do so before this.

JULiA LEWiS – Ginga

JULiA LEWiS – Ginga

One of my favorite things about working with musicians and artists is watching them grow and progress as they continue to make more art. JULiA LEWIS is someone I have watched closely for a while and while I’ve always been a fan of what he has been making, this new track is just my jam right now! “Ginga” could be his most polished beat yet and as this beat/future scene continues to grow, it will be guys like JL who will push the envelope to give us that true new sound. Huge props on the EDM.com exclusive for this one and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the EP (that this is from) very soon.

JULiA LEWiS – Mind Warp (instrumental)

Original produced for the bay area rap duo known as Zion i, Julia Lewis blesses us all today with an instrumental version of his track “Mind Warp”. I’m always happy to get more music from the homie from the bay and this track does not disappoint.

Also be sure to catch Julia Lewis with the homies Hotel Garuda next week in SF. More info here.
