From all of the tracks I’ve heard so far, it’s safe to say that GoldLink has really put together a very dope album. Annie Mac just played another Louie Lastic produced record and you can check it out up top. “And After That, We Didn’t Talk” drops 11/13.
A few days ago 4Real liberated this lost GoldLink track that was recorded in 2014 but never meant to be released. You can read a bit more about this pretty dope song below.
Rare & unreleased track.
This was recorded early 2014 or possibly even earlier.
Link just happened to send it to me early part of 2014 if I remember correctly.
& he’s probably going to kill me for releasing it but it’s been collecting dust far too long.
Just beg him to not force me to take it down ya’ll. Spam the hell outta his twitter.
I actually like this one better than the original to be honest. My biggest fear with Goldlink is that he’s getting a bit too comfortable with his lyrics and will start making tracks that just come off as lazy. Hopefully I’m wrong and if he’s smart, he will get in the studio with Brasstracks for an original joint real soon.
Looks like I’ll be at the Roxy in Hollywood on Wednesday. Ticket information + some warm up tracks can be found down below.
With Falcons, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals
WEDNESDAY JUNE 17
This event is all ages

Sorry guys. I know it’s getting harder to rely on me but have no fear. I feel a great change coming soon and I have still been listening to lots of music. I just need some time to get it to you.
Also SXSW is happening and I will be in Austin from 3/15 – 3/23 and I cant wait to eat everything and see some amazing live performances. I’ll also be representing my new music promotion service
The story behind this one goes as so. Goldlink had been using part of this beat in his live sets and when Falcons found out, the two came together (through twitter I believe) to finish the complete song. The end result – Exactly what you needed to ride around town with on this mild LA afternoon.
You never find a nigga like me put that on my mother

We teamed up with Soulection for GoldLink’s LA debut at their monthly “The Sound of Tomorrow” party.
You can’t go wrong with @goldlink. Finally getting a second to catch up all the songs I meant to post last week. The usual stuff I found last week mix will still go up tomorrow and everything I post tonight will be on it.
New track ‘Future (Part 1)’ featuring Goldlink from Bipolar Sunshine. Produced by: Fraser T Smith.
Sorry for lagging a bit. I have to actually live this crazy life of mine before I can come back here and talk about all the music I hear. This is a weak ass playlist but it’s still something!
I guess it was only a matter of time before GoldLink and Alex Young ended up on the same track. I’m glad Alex didn’t try to go all crazy bass heavy on this but at the same time, it could almost use a extra bit of something to maybe make it a bit more street? IDK what I’m talking about but none the less it’s still quite fresh.
