Never Rest, Always Hustle
Sorry guys. I know it’s getting harder to rely on me but have no fear. I feel a great change coming soon and I have still been listening to lots of music. I just need some time to get it to you.
Also SXSW is happening and I will be in Austin from 3/15 – 3/23 and I cant wait to eat everything and see some amazing live performances. I’ll also be representing my new music promotion service
I really wasn’t looking forward to any of the endless remixes, edits, bootlegs, reworks or whatever people were planning to call their versions of the latest Drake project. However, Alex young continues to evolve from his former dub step sound and gives us something pretty special here. Just to give you some perspective, I only played “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” once and I have already played this one edit a dozen times. Maybe Alex should just do the whole mixtape? I wouldn’t be mad at that.
I guess it was only a matter of time before GoldLink and Alex Young ended up on the same track. I’m glad Alex didn’t try to go all crazy bass heavy on this but at the same time, it could almost use a extra bit of something to maybe make it a bit more street? IDK what I’m talking about but none the less it’s still quite fresh.
