Riot Ten Releases groundbreaking album Hype or Die : The Dead EP via Dim Mak

Since the release of hit single, Pit Boss last month, Riot Ten returns with his highly-anticipated seven-track EP Hype or Die: The Dead. Teaming up with fellow headbanger Sullivan King as well as legendary Three 6 Mafia member DJ Paul for the lead track “Pit Boss,” the trio set the EP’s tone on this moshing anthem.

Now, for the rest of the package, the established Dubstep leader is joined by MC Rico Act and Germany’s Badfella to create destructive riddim anthem “WTFLEX”.  Included in the EP are songs “Graves,” “Back At Em” (with Dim Mak alums ARIUS) and the EP’s title track “The Dead”.

The EP arrives amidst Riot Ten’s massive 55+ show North American tour with Datsik.

2017 was Mr. Rail Breaker’s biggest year to date due to his massive single, “Rail breaker”. The epic single rose to fame quickly and became every festivals headbanging anthem that spawns countless viral videos. It was so popular that the outbreak saw support from The Chainsmokers, Excision, Steve Aoki, Kayzo and NGHTMRE, to name a few and got dropped in EDC Vegas, EDC Orlando, Electric Zoo, and Lost Lands music festivals. With that in mind, Riot Ten secured his spot as a global ambassador of heavy bass music while releasing his expansive catalog on labels such Buygore, Rottun, Firepower, NSD: Black Label, and, of course, Dim Mak. Like Riot Ten’s iconic sets, this EP is a systematic chain reaction inspired by his relentless fan core who uncontrollably erupt with energy at every show.

Riot Ten is currently on the massive 55 date Ninja Nation tour as support for Datsik.

Fool’s Gold producer/DJ Madeaux returns With New Single “The Wave” Featuring Brux

Fool’s Gold producer/DJ Madeaux returns With New Single “The Wave” Featuring Brux

Spotted by A-Trak and signed by Fool’s Gold Records, the self-termed shy young producer returns with new single “The Wave” featuring haunting vocals from Brux.

When hearing the track for the first time, the track has downtempo R&B that melds dark house elements into a smoldering, club-ready house breaks. “Self-actualization instruction manual” is what Madaeux was aiming for when creating this track that was two years in the making. He wants his listeners to be on a transformational journey of striving to make timeless music in “an era where everyone likes, follows and views everything, yet values nothing.”

Lead single of the EP “Run With It” will feature dancehall antihero Tommy Lee Sparta, known as Jamaican music’s first goth. With Tommy’s vocals and Madeaux dark house elements combined, fans are in for a treat.

Burn, will consist of 12 tracks that resembles a journey into the producer’s varied influences and interests, ranging from bass-driven riffs to heady electronics. Not forgetting the epic collaborations with artists including WILLS, Poter Elvinger, Zuse, Tommy Lee Sparta, OG Maco, Josh Pan, Fifi Ron and Holly.

Barclay Crenshaw latest new hit, “The Baddest” with Cam & China

Barclay Crenshaw latest new hit, “The Baddest” with Cam & China

In January last year, Barclay Crenshaw released his self titled debut album, channeling themes of alien abduction, space and exploration of time that brought life to his tracks. Less than a year since the release, he returned with the findings & discoveries from the last ship, prepared to crash in North America.

Collaborating with the amazing sister duo, Cam & China, Barclay is all set to produce his next big hit, “The Baddest” in his brand new EP.

If you haven’t seen the news, the twin female rappers, originally from Inglewood, California have already earned their title of “The baddest” in the West Coast rap scene.  Veterans of L.A.’s jerkin’ scene and ex Pink Dollaz, the siblings melded their minds to shape their raw fierce sounds with collaborators including MIA, DJ Mustard, Battlecat and D.R.U.G.S and recognized from LA Weekly as “The Best Hip Hop Duo in LA”.

Tune in to their new track, “The Baddest” on SoundCloud.

Paul Oakenfold drops breaking new single, Love Escape with Australian vocalist, Amba Shepherd

Paul Oakenfold drops breaking new single, Love Escape with Australian vocalist, Amba Shepherd

Yes, you heard it right. Paul Oakenfold once again sought the talents of a woman who’s now one of Australia’s most established electronic music singer/songwriters, Amba Shepherd.

Amba Shepherd is no stranger to the EDM world where she previously supplied vocals to Hardwell’s ‘Apollo’ and Paul’s very own 3 million-stream hit “U Are’. Collaborating with Paul on his new breaking single, she gifts ‘Love Escape’ its spirited chorus with her mesmerising voice.

Not forgetting the dancefloor spaces and clubbing moments, Paul commissioned three killer reinterpretation to stylistically spread the remix love far and wide. With Sydney’s JaySounds reining the bpms, while boosting its bottom end signature and Adelaide’s Dimatik flipping the polarity, taking it high up to the trance heavens, both remixes are sure to service ‘Love Escape’s primetime needs.

David Webster, on the other hand brings a more lamenting vibe to Amba’s vocal. Through scudding drums and tight percussion lines, he engages its drive, while amping up its ether through tubular synths, cyber FX and pad-based sweep.

Tune in to Love Escape here:

Bobby Nourmand is one of my favorite deep house producers with out a doubt. Not only has it been a pleasure to become friends with this guy over the last 2 years but I am just impressed and proud of his progress as an artist. Back when we first started talking about music and life,he was still searching for his own style and vibe and I can say now with confidence that he has found all of the above. His music continues to evolve with each release and you can see his confidence grow with each new show he plays. 2018 is looking to be a big year for Bobby and I’m happy to support his movement. Be sure to check out the track below and follow him on Soundcloud and Spotify.

One of my favorite hip hop talents / personalities (waka Flocka Flame) is coming back to Avalon in Hollywood this Friday for what will surly be another crazy night of moshing on the dance floor. While I hope to be safely chilling back stage, you cannot deny the energy that Waka brings to any venue and after seeing him destroy this place twice already over the years, you can be sure that all hell will break lose once he gets into some of his hits. The infamous G-Unit Dj Who Kid will also be hitting the decks so make sure you grab a ticket before they sell out!

LA Riots – Country Club Disco Mix

LA Riots – Country Club Disco Mix

Screen Shot 2018-01-09 at 12.15.16 PM

When I started my professional adventures in electronic music around 2010, one of the first groups that I really started to get behind were a DJ duo by the name of LA Riots. Their big tracks and energetic mixes kept many a nights going for myself and my crew and watching them blow up with labels like Fools Gold and Spinnin has been an awesome sight to see. The duo has been off the radar as of late and it just so happens that Daniel lives near my office where we recently caught up while hanging with my frenchie Bowser. To be honest, I’ve been running into this guy all over town for years and as far as DJ/Producers go, he’s as nice as it gets.

After chatting in front of whole foods for a few, it looks like LA Riots will be coming out with some dope new music soon (tech house vibes!) and I want to be sure to share it all with you guys as I get it. For now check out this incredibly dope mix that the guys worked up for Country Club records. The mix is chock full of demos and unreleased work and it’s the perfect collection of tunes to keep you going on this very rainy LA day. I’ll have more news and music from LA Riots soon so stay tuned as the hustle continues.

Coachella 2018 Lineup

Coachella 2018 Lineup

So it looks like the good people at Goldenvoice are doing away with a lot of the electronic music for this years fest. The Sahara tent has been a complete mess for the last 2 years so maybe this will finally free up some space in there!
Besides the last of popular dance music, the lineup is pretty solid. Eminem is kind of a surprise for Sunday considering how bad his album really way but I guess as long as the girls get to all dance to Beyonce all will be ok..

I should be at both weekends per usual but who knows! 2018 could be a weird one!
