I’m always happy to hear new music from Flume. The Ausi producer is a genius and he continues to make shine with “Some Minds”. More info on this track and video down below.
‘Some Minds’, is the new release from Australia’s most accomplished producer FLUME. The track features vocals and lyrics by Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt.
The video is the result of a collaboration between Flume, the Sydney Opera House and respected director Clemens Habicht (Tame Impala, Bloc Party, The Presets). It features dance and choreography from Australian Ballet member Callum Linnane. Granted exclusive access to the iconic Australian building, the shoot took place throughout the night one Saturday in April.
The premiere of Some Minds video and track release, via Mom & Pop in the US on Thursday 5/28 coincides with Flume’s sold out, headline performances at Sydney Opera House’s Vivid Festival (part of FCX: 10 years of Future Classic) on Friday 5/29 and Saturday 5/30.
Flume will spend the rest of 2015 touring internationally. The next US date is Governor’s Ball.
This track was already huge and now Sweater Beats jumps on the remix making this thing is a monster. Watching Sweater Beats blow up over the last few months has been awesome and this new tour with Chance The Rapper is really going to do a lot for his career. Watch out for this guy!

I have heard Flume drop this track a couple of times during both his Live set and his DJ set but it looks like this is the first time the song has found its way to the net. I can’t confirm any of the info on this but it should sound familiar to any die hard Flume fans.
Another edition of “Last Week I Found This Stuff” is ready for you to dive in to. This week we have more of the same… Awesome music. Artists this week include: Cozz, J. Cole, aywy, Lil Bibby, Kepler gold, Ekali, Sam Gellaitry, Kembe, Arcade Fire, Flume, and many many more! Enjoy and please share responsibly.
I personally don’t really give a fuck about Arcade Fire anymore. Probably because it was my x-girlfriends favorite band and anything that reminds me of her just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Regardless of all that, I am still a MASSIVE Flume fan and even though he seems to be slowly moving towards more mainstream friendly tracks, this is still pretty fresh.
