We’ve been talking to A.J. for a minute in preparation of this tape and throughout the various emails we discovered that things weren’t really going his way recently and that he was going through a tough time in life. A.J. looked to music to take his mind off these difficulties and the therapeutic quality of making music is often understated. Visions is the aptly titled product of a mind with a set goal. A determined mind. ‘Don’t Rush’ is the second side to this week’s tape (a side that was carefully and thoughtfully prepared) and it continues the journey in our 63 Chevy Impala through the mind of a young promising artist.
