STS9 Announces ‘Push The Sky’ Concerts at Red Rocks Ampitheatre

Today, Sound Tribe Sector 9 announced details for their annual Red Rocks Amphitheater and Denver weekend on September 5-7. Red Rocks has been a landing point for STS9 for over a decade, coming together to bring the band’s ever-progressing sound to an iconic venue with an intimate community feel.

The weekend begins on September 5 at The Paramount in Denver with an extended ‘Wave Spell’ performance, a fully improvised live concept first debuted at last years Wave Spell Live festival. At Red Rocks, attendee’s can catch three STS9 sets on both Friday and Saturday, offering a brilliant exploration of the depth of the collective.

Tribe’s 2019 Red Rocks weekend will revolve around their new ‘Push The Sky’ production aesthetic, a continuation of last years immersive ‘Cave Of Crystals’ concept. This very evolution in live performance has been a continuing theme in STS9’s 20-year existence, a factor that has earned the group a cult-like following and elite status in the live electronic community.

Special 3-day weekender passes will be available exclusively for STS9 Bandcamp subscribers on April 3 with public on sale to follow on April 5.
