I kinda want to learn the lyrics to this and record my own version of the video with my own vocal track. They could have gone wild on this video but I’m sure there was a budget of around $20. It’s a shame because the song is so fire.

Author:Lil Bibby – Game Over (feat. Lil Herb)
This beat is so fire! There was a short time where I was obsessed with Drill music and the culture around it and while that phase for me has passed, I knew that some of these kids were going to rise to the top and I think both Bibby and Herb both have a great chance to make some waves. Squad up and bump this one loud!
Video: Alex Wiley – Splash Game (Self Doubt)
This is hardly my favorite track from Alex Wiley but it’s still better than most of the stuff posted on your favorite hip hop blog. The one thing that this video does do for me is get me pumped for Toronto. Everybody seems to love the dot and I need to get back up there very soon.
Souls Of Mischief – Panic Struck (prod. Adrian Younge)
Yet another new track from SOM. Adrian Younge jumps on the production duties which means the beat if guaranteed to be certified dope. While I do appreciate these new offerings from one of my favorite groups in hip hop, all this does is make me miss the old stuff. Oh well!
Event: Just Blaze This Friday @ Control
This Friday one of the greatest hip hop producers/DJs of all time will be gracing the legendary stage at Avalon in Hollywood for another crazy night with the guys Control. You know I’m going to be there going crazy while trying to get Just Blaze to notice my rare vintage polo button down and I know the kids will be extra turnt up to hear some bangers. Toi get you all warmed up for Friday, here is a fat mix of all kinds of Just Blaze goodness. Tickets can be purchased HERE for mad cheap. See you there.
PLAYLIST: Last Week I Found This Stuff: III
Sorry for lagging a bit. I have to actually live this crazy life of mine before I can come back here and talk about all the music I hear. This is a weak ass playlist but it’s still something!
GoldLink – When I Die (Alex Young And Jonah Baseball Version)
I guess it was only a matter of time before GoldLink and Alex Young ended up on the same track. I’m glad Alex didn’t try to go all crazy bass heavy on this but at the same time, it could almost use a extra bit of something to maybe make it a bit more street? IDK what I’m talking about but none the less it’s still quite fresh.
YUNG LEX SNARE 4 – FIJI TEARS
This has Sad Boys written all over it. You may recognize this sample from like 20 other songs and the video game Donkey Kong Country. This could be its best use yet. #staysad
Chris McClenney – Mine
The execution on the latest offering from Chris McClenney is just flawless. Now just imagine a dope MC or up and coming R&B crooner over this? That could be on the radio easily.. Think about it. #Thefutureishere
Stuff I Found Last Week: II -7/27 – 8/3
Another 15 tracks for you to judge. I pretty much live off of these play lists and use them to make sure I don’t miss anything. Next weeks should be insane because I think I added 9 tracks to it already.
Enjoy!
