Some nice footage of 9th spitting and a crowd shot of Murs performing our sites anthem. I have more stuff coming from Rock The Bells so sit tight. I Should have some big news soon and I’m working hard to get AlwaysHustle ready for the next level!
The remix of “Your Summer Song” features J Mitchell on vocals, and is part of Exile’s Radio Remix project, “AM/FM” which is scheduled to drop August 31st. Exile’s Radio LP is in stores now.
I was recently reminded about The Killabits, (a dub step duo out of Toronto) that I had first heard last year when they dropped this Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar remix and I’m glad they were brought back to my attention because I forgot how awesome these guys really are.
I know people have some mixed feelings about dub step and I know a lot of folks don’t think it is really going to catch on but of there was an MC that could lace these beats correctly, we could see a nice mash up of styles which could create some really solid dance music. In the end, it should just be about rocking the party and dub step is doing that right now. Here are a couple of tracks that should be on your current “This music is really dope” playlist.
Yea I’m working on my music again. The beats my homie Phillip Drummond is pumping out for this project are crazy! I can’t wait to share more with you. Stay tuned. Oh and I don’t eat Taco bell anymore. Just saying.
Recently the homie Dumbfoundead got a chance to talk to one of my favorite beat makers (RJD2) @ The El Rey in Los Angeles. Check out the interview and the info below.
dumbfoundead—May 18, 2010 — I had a chance to link up with one of my favorite artists, RJD2. I was fortunate to catch him backstage after his show at the El Rey.
Super pumped to read that my good friend Keelay took Best Indie-Rap Producer in this years SF Weekly “Best Of” Awards. Keelay is a humble dude who may seem quiet when you’re just chillin, but the beats this guy has produced will get any situation jumping for sure. He has been a close ally of mine since I moved out here and it’s great to see him get a little piece of the pie. You deserve it man. As soon as I get my bars up I’m coming for one of those beats.
