So Talib hooked it up once again and last Saturday I found myself in the photo pit of another epic show at The Fox Theater in Oakland. I have seen Talib and Mos Def separately quite a few times over the years but it was special to see these two still doing what they love at this point in their careers. When they created Black Star they were still coming up but it’s clear now that they have both made it and are still doing a lot of good for Hip Hop.

My only criticism is for Mos Def. Dude.. His singing voice and his crazy little improv moments are fucking horrible. At times I wanted to throw my shoe at him when he was trying to sing all crazy on the hooks while Talib did some solo stuff. Mos has been ruining sets with his sub par singing voice for quite some time and I think the fans need to stand up and tell him to shut up! You guys know what I’m talking about so don’t act like you don’t! Anyway enjoy these vids and I’ll try to get a few more and some clips of Zion i and Curtains up asap.
